| ...so I'll be using as much control of the circumstances as is possible to make the new track trials comparable. Same track and temperature (if possible). Other than the test pipes, the same car setup. Same fuel. Same weight. Same driver (me). It took me several trips to the track and multiple passes each time to lock down that 14.59 @ 97 MPH. It was my BEST performance. I was even tuning my timing that day at the track and have since locked it down at 16 degrees BTDC. I'm going to check it before I make the new runs, but it should be the same. If you've ever messed with your timing you know what a fine bunch of fun that is. I am aware of the psychology of wanting to believe there was a power increase because I spent some $$$. That's no secret. Believe me when I installed my headers and felt nothing, I was pretty pissed. I can be objective.
